GREAT POST Anonymous1 !!!!

I’ve been laughing all morning at the jokes and humor of our famed Firefly panel. It must have been a riot to have been there and I can’t tell you how uplifting this makes me feel. Our BDHs look great and the affection they feel for one another is as genuine as ever. God, to see them back together as a team on a FF set would be a dream. None of the magic has tarnished. Why can’t television studios or fancy big budget movie companies see that the spark of FF is still there.

I want to thank Nathan, Morena, Jewel and Alan all for getting together and going to D-C. Wish I coulda been there myself, well possibly next year I will be able to attend.

I’m happy for all of our browncoat brothers and sisters that were able to make the trip. I’m sure you’ve done the FF family as proud as you always have. One day I hope to meet many of you.

Hold the line and have a happy and safe trip home, Z

Thanks for posting. I had a BLAST at D*C this year, esp the two Firefly panels I attended.

I'd like to find serenity one day.

I got so excited, I almost choked on an ice cube. True story.

And... could anyone make out what Jewel and Morena said their favorite books were?

"Can you, for a moment, imagine how depressing it is to teach one thousand years of masculine ineptitude? Why do you think there are so few women historians? I'll tell you why. Because history is not such a frolic for women as it is for men... History is a commentary on the various and continuing incapabilities of men. History is women following behind with a bucket and a mop." - Alan Bennett, "The History Boys"

That was great! Here's the scene Jewel described with Matthew Fox. I hope this link works. It's from her myspace page so I imagine lots of poeple have already seen it. Hope she doesn't get mad for me posting it here but I'm sure everyone wants to see how shy and geeking looking she was in front of her hero. Just like one of us I imagine meeting one of the BDHs.

I'm amazed there isn't a thread about Morena's big revelation at the Stargate panel yesterday morning. Did I miss it somehow? Was nobody else from fff.net even there?

Uh, I could have told you yesterday, but I just got off of work so I can't remember anything past my own name atm... wait, what's my name again?

Try listening again with headsets. You can hear it better that way.

I saw a murmur of this over in LiveJournal, but no specifics. Maybe you could fill us in?

Jewel's current favorite, she said it changes because she reads a lot, is "Confessions of Max Tivoli". (I had to look it up, because I didn't catch the last word.)

Morena's is The Great Gatsby, though she recommended "Story of a Marriage" to Jewel. It's by the same author as Confessions.

I'm not sure. I had presumed that once it was said at a panel at a con, all the "don't tell anyone, I'll get in trouble"s were all tongue in cheek and everyone knew it was really now public knowledge. But if everyone else here has chosen to not post about it, perhaps it really was supposed to stay under the radar and I shouldn't talk about it. This was my first Con of any sort so I have no idea what Con etiquette dictates, and I'd hate to be the one to stomp on any future revelations by inappropriately discussing this one.

Anyone with more Con experience wanna help me out with what's appropriate here?

It is surprising that it's not been making the rounds, and not having been there I've no idea if there was any implication that it should be kept under the radar, so I totally respect your hesitation to say anything. One day the truth will out. Maybe in comic form.
