The rumblings you've been hearing in the criminal underground since July indeed are true: At long last, we are seeking new applicants to the League.1

Aspirants to new heights of Evil should submit a video application that meets the terms below.

* It should be no more than three minutes in length.
* There should be little to no swearing.2
* Dialogue, logos, and music must be original.3
* You must be evil (bonus to have a name).
* Your video application should be posted to YouTube or Vimeo.
* Email us a link to the video, with your contact information.4
* October 11 is the last day to submit.

The best applicants, as determined by the League or its designated agents, will be included on a special DVD commemorating our most recent member.

Make the bad horse gleeful, or he'll make you his mare.

2. Evil can be something of a family affair.
3. We're evil, not stupid.

I think we're supposed to right (edit: of course I meant write) our own songs. Fail? Perhaps they are failing so hard the needle spins around back to win. Don't know.

I have been thinking of sending a video response to Dr. Horrible where I already have come up with a persona and a link to the Dr. Horrible world, but I cannot sing worth a damn. I was thinking of adding that ability to sing badly as a backup weapon or reference proving my horribleness.

There's Windows Movie Maker that's probably already installed on your system. You can also try http://jahshaka.org/index.php. It's open source, all though it does have a bit of a learning curve, and you only have two weeks.

Actually, they require you to post it to YouTube or Vimeo, which automatically convert it for you. YouTube supports pretty much every format out there, so it shouldn't be a problem.

The video editing is actually the least of my own concerns. I can sing, but I don't write music.

Find a nice simple tune in the public domain (something like this perhaps http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twinkle_twinkle_little_star ) and just write new lyrics.
