Quote: Glad I'm not the only one being unimaginative and using my initials. It's kind of my nickname too. I was just thinking the other day that I should think up a new name. Anyone got any ideas they're not using?

Quote:I love that book! I have never been so shocked and horrified by a novel scene as I was when I read the scene when the plane comes out of the cloud and cuts that soldier into pieces. I literally went from laughing out loud to shrieking to crying, all within about two minutes of reading time.

I'm near certain that vera is actually Spanish for side. And I am certain that verdad is Spanish for "true" and/or truth. Slight difference, but thought it worth mentioning. I've had my name a long, long time. However, I'm not entirely sure where my name came from - I refuse to believe it's a personality thing - so I'd appreciate any recollections you may have.
