Missing - think they've all been mentioned: Matrix 1; Brazil and/or 12 Monkeys; the Star Wars Episode of your choice (I'd go for "A New Hope" - it stuck to its Saturday serial roots without getting pretentions) and Close Encounters (the un -about-with version that knew when to hand the job over to your imagination).

LOL, okay, I was goin' for the funny. Yeah, Matrix falls to bitty pieces upon any serious examination. Like what was that crap about "combined with a kind of fusion..." all about? Treknobabble bs because they couldn't make any sense out of it in real science.
Biggest pet peeve about the movie for me? It should have been funnier, given it's total lack or realism, that would have been a saving grace IMO.
