Actually, it is the case. Steven Swanson, engineer and NASA astronaut took a copy of the Firefly DVDs up to the Space Station last year and is definately a big fan. So there's at least one guy at Nasa pushing for Serenity, though I'm sure there's even more since it was a listed choice. While I highly doubt they'll go with Colbert, despite them beating us by 40,000 votes, I feel really bummed that we didnt' get together enough on this one to pull ahead.
