Nor would they send the entire population, which cuts the numbers a bit more.

but what if they have a stargate? :P

Wow. So many variables.

SO one story I was formulating took into consideration people who were in between the living and the dead. Kinda the hybrid alien/human thing as a form of evolution and adaptation.

Hybrid alien or hybrid zombie?

DO the aliens have nifty metabolisms that let them eat all they want and not gain weight??? 'Cause I'd like that

oooooh oooh and can they reproduce without morning sickness and the tons of other pains and indignities that come with it??

Found I will be going to Vegas with two kids on April 16, 17, and 18. Not happy but not mad. Just kinda bleh.

It could be worse. I am getting paid for the trip and I might get to fit in some shooting at a field on the evening of the 16th.

awesome, zeek ^_^

my car battery decided it wanted to die this morning, the bf thinks its bad terminals (even though its been running on the same terminals since before i owned it, but i know these things wear out) i think it mightve been the headlights draining it cuz it was overcast yesterday and i was driving with lights, but i don't remember turning them off (normally when i open my car door the dash will beep at me if the lights are on, but it hasn't been doing that lately probably because the switch is broken), but both the bf and i can attest to the fact that the lights weren't on last night, and he said i'd have to leave the lights on overnight to kill it. course, i'm wondering if the battery had burned out by the time night rolled around so the lights just went out because of lack of power ><;;
eighty bucks down the drain it looks like. tryna secure a voltmeter to check the battery, see if it's really dead. i love machines @_@

Any major auto parts store usually tests batteries and alternators for free. Give your nearest one a call to see if the do. If your terminal(s) or cable(s) is/are bad either the alternator will not fully charge the battery and/or the battery will not run the cars various operating systems at full charge. It will be much cheaper to diagnose the problem before buying a battery, cables, terminals, or an alternator right from the initial problem. Some places will let you do this to make a quick buck off the unknowing customer.

thanks NV, the bf checked out the battery when he got home (always good to have a mechanic for a boyfriend ^_^) and jumped it with his car. he said the alternator was charging once Serenity started running and told me to either let it idle or drive it around a bit, so i drove it. retested the battery when i got back and said it looked ok, but the real test would be whether or not it would start in the mornin. i guess we'll see when the sun comes up ^_^ *crosses fingers that Serenity pulls through*

It's also still cold and all so that in itself will help kill a battery. If he's a mechanic he probably cleaned the battery posts and terminals which accounts for many issues with cold starting.

She was calling it a bean for a while but changed to peanut at my request.

And is there some sort of honey roasted peanut shortage? Seriously I can't find jars of them anywhere in austin anymore. All they carry is dry roasted. I don't even get jars of them often but for some reason I wanted one there weren't any. I've gotten so curious I've checked at Super Target and Super Walmart and nothing. Honey bees all died out or something?

At least his lies are slightly more concealed. You might actually believe that oxyclean can get out stains from a shirt soaked in ink and dried in the sun for 3 months. You'd have to be an idiot but at least they try pretty hard to pull it off.

Though I guess it all comes down to greed. If someone can fleece someone else out of money and live with themselves then they'll do it. They probably just convince themselves that a fool and his money are soon parted and they're just getting their piece.

I've zoned out so much advertizement that it takes me seeing a commercial four or five times before it really grabs me. Even then I forget it in a short amount of time.

Like the gum commercial where the goat rams the dude in the guts to get him to spit out his old gum. I must have laughed at that commercial for two months before ever getting what it was for.

I've never been too well swayed by television commercials unless I was supremely hungry or really, REALLY wanted a beer.

Well, part of the problem is that if they research it and find something that suppresses the morning sickness, but that ultimately is proven to harm the child, then there's a huge class action suit. Fetuses are extremely sensitive, so finding a way to treat it that isn't harmful in some way to the child is the greatest challenge.

I think that nobody's done it for that reason, and that (and MsA is going to throw something at me for this) morning sickness is more annoying than harmful. Obviously since children are born every day, the mother can deal with it and manage to nourish the child adequately despite of the morning sickness.

I won't throw anything... however that depends ( the able to nourish) there are a certain percentage of moms who get hospitalized do to malnourishment and dehydration from morning sickness..
Don't know as I'd describe it as annoying.. it's basically like having severe stomach flu all the time. You throw up all day and night and if you're not throwing up you're severly nauseous ( I especially love when I wake up at night and have to throw up) Does make for interesting meetings...gigglesnort.. " um excuse me I have to...( run for door)"
But yes it's hard to study pregnant women 'cause you don't want to have a negative effect on the baby.

So you should all feel really bad for poor NV who's having to do practically everything 'cause I'm too busy throwing up or lying perfectly still so I don't throw up.
