Check this out;
http://firefly.wikia.com/wiki/Hands_of_Blue

More to the point, this;

==============
In the Serenity comics, the blue "gloves" are shown to extend to and cover the upper body as well. They were finally killed and the Alliance passes the assignment to retrieve the Tams to the Operative.

Another group of the hands of blue are seen briefly at the beginning of the film Serenity.
==============

Uh.....those were the same blue-hands, weren't they?
That scene transpired BEFORE the Firefly series continuity, and thus before they died.

Am I right?

Or have I been wrong all along?

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

You are right that the scene at the beginning of Serenity the BDM does occur before the Firefly series timeline. However, the two actors in that scene are not the same as those who appeared in The Train Job and Ariel, but we can assume they worked for the same organization.

It's not the same guys?
Happens so quick i never thought otherwise.
Now I wonder if;

a) they couldnt get other actors, so got two stand-ins

or

b) there are MEANT to be more than two blue-hands

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

There were meant to be more than two blue hands. They work in pairs, but there are many pairs.
Actually, it wasn't even supposed to be the same set of blue hands throughout the series, but it worked out that way.
The guys in the movie are not the same actors. And actually the shot that reveals their blue gloves doesn't even appear on screen.

True, their gloves aren't revealed. But from the X-files lighting you shudder and know anyway. :D

I watched Serenity first and still shuddered, not knowing who exactly they were, lol. Nice job, guys.

"two by two, hands of blue" is also suggestive of more than one pair.
