There's a YHA about 5 mins' walk away from the host hotel :-). There's also a Holiday Inn at Temple Meads less than 5 mins away if you have slightly deeper pockets.

Hope that helps

A great city by a great lake.

If you like a lot of snow in the Winter, a lot of rain in the Spring, Road and highway construction in the Summer, and thousands of falling leaves in the Fall then you must live in Wisconsin.

This is me and friends I have converted to the Browncoat way of life:
6 in Carterton, Oxfordshire, England
1 in Witney, Oxfordshire, England
1 in Bampton, Oxfordshire, England
and another who lives somewhere in Wales.
We'd love to be added to a Browncoat map and although I know this is unlikely to get back to Fox there are fans out here on the rim.

Man, I'd like to know where you were last if Waco is your idea of fun.

Seriously, it's my hometown so I can be pretty brutal about it. It is a good family town I suppose, big enough to have stuff to do but not so big that traffic is a problem. It is in the middle of the Bible Belt though (not that there's anything wrong with that ) so I feel a bit like an outsider.

And there are worse places in Texas to live, trouble is I can't think of any at the moment.

Or over here in Michigan! Though, I think we have a bit less Spring rain.

Hiya folks,

I was on my way to work (yes, I'd rather be outside enjoying the sights) when I came upon a security guard here in the building (30 Rock) and to my amazement, he points to my Serenity T-shirt and says "Awesome show."

You could imagine my delight and surprise at meeting another Browncoat here in the City. I was so happy to meet him I went over to where he was standing and shook his hand. I said it was nice to meet a fellow Browncoat and then I asked him "When did he find out about it. He said about 2 years ago when he saw the BDM."

Now I'm in a great mood. I didn't get a chance to say much more because I needed to get to the office. But I plan to sneak down pretty soon to go see if I could talk to him some more.

Hope he's still there when I go down. I'm feeling good and I thought I passed this on. Man, it's great to meet a fellow BC.
