More than three years in the making, Serenity – The Big Damn Replica, has been painstakingly crafted to be absolutely screen-accurate in every aspect. Unlike most other iconic ships from science fiction, Serenity was designed from the ground up to be as realistic as possible, from her floor plan to her construction, using real-world components and manufacturing processes. As one of her creators observed, the idea was to make Serenity so real, fans could easily imagine themselves walking her decks. With such a sense of place and familiarity, viewers would never feel lost in this Firefly-Class Transport.

There's lots more pictures and info at http://www.quantummechanix.com/Serenity.html No pricing yet though.

My hubby was looking around and found the Cylon Raider that they built and it's only $950.00 and it even comes with a pretty plate that is signed by a cast/crew/producer.

*crosses fingers for a price under 1k...*

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

She is beautiful, but I am fearful of the unveiling of the price.

Says it's Inara's shuttle launching, but isn't her shuttle docked on the other side of Sereniy?

Could you please just make it stranger? Stranger. Odder. Could be weirder. More bizarre. How about uncanny?

Think my children will mind me harvesting their organs to pay for this?

I doubt I'll be able to afford one, but I may convince my family and friends to go in together for my birthday (which is the week before they contact for orders!)

So, very, pretty.

Oh WOW! This is Super Cool and Super Shiny! Totally blown away with the beautiful loving way they have recreated our favourite boat. Can't wait to find out how much it will be selling for and when they will be ready. I'm betting on them having the replicas available to buy for Christmas. May have to sell my gorram house to afford one though.

Okay, I have found a new love - this boat is even more awesome than, dare I say it, Summer.

Now I know how Mal felt at the end of OoG the first time he clapped eyes on her. There are no words, closest I could come is River or Inara, or Kaylee's smile, or maybe the way Zoe looks at Wash.

Thanks micjwelch for posting.

Yeah, I thought it was too.

It's the wrong side if you compare it to the shot from War Stories when Mal and Wash leave in shuttle 2 and then we focus on Inara's shuttle.

And in Our Mrs. Reynolds, Mal clearly exits and goes down the stairs on the starboard side (which would be the left side, looking into the cargobay...
