NO but the hollywood lifestley does age you i noticed this to about Summer she starting to show her age now not there fault it just a very fast pace they live by. i'm 21 but i have been told i look between 18-21.

Jewel born June 1982.
Started filming Firefly in March 2002 at age 19. Finished filming Firefly in December 2002 at age 20.

I guess you should add math as another of your epic failures, right? Oh, right, you won't be able to add, either.

It might be fair to point out that she has LOST weight since 2002.

I met Jewel a few months ago at MegaCon in Orlando. For the record, SHE NEVER LOOKED BETTER! I talked to her when she was sitting, but later I saw her standing & walking around before and after the Whedonverse panel....and SHE NEVER LOOKED BETTER! Not only that, but she may be one of the nicest people I've ever met at a show. My wife was on another line for Leonard Nimoy (I think she was going thru female Pon Far or something...7 years? yeah, that's about right!), so I was "on my own" with Jewel, a bit intimidating for one who is generally shy around people. She greeted me with a big smile, and managed to make me feel special. Same goes for Morena who was next door. Two amazing ladies, and I'll never forget meeting them.

It's common knowledge among many FF fans that Jewel was a bit heavier for the role of Kaylee during the series, per Joss's instructions. After the series ended, she dropped a few, not that she really needed to, but you could tell there's a difference between Firefly Kaylee and Serenity Kaylee.

To be honest, I thought the pic of her new hair style was a bit on the blurry side, and not a true indicator of much besides a - her new hair style and b - her dead sexy eyes, lips, hair......

Joss required her to gain 20 pounds, she had to agree before he could cast her. After the show, she naturally lost that extra weight. For Serenity 2 years later, Joss wanted all the same actors in their roles, and there was not enough time for Jewel to regain the pounds - Joss still wanted her to reprise her role. The extra 20 pounds was unusual for her.

you are still a jerk, no way around that.
