... put up an OFFICAL site with nifty things? I mean, c'mon... how about a blog with the actors, director, producers?

I know about the OB, albeit hard to naviagate, only a forum and confusing at times...

And dont get me wrong, I think this is the best Firefly site out there... I would just find it nifty for a weekly thing like they did back when go se FOX

had that cool site.

I read somewhere that Universal bought some Serenity named site, but had done nothing with it.

Anyway. Maybe I am alone in this...

I think they're still working on it. I seem to recall someone in another thread noted that a website was listed as coming soon on Universal's main site. Anyone remember???

Shouldn't be long now, although I've noticed that most official movie sites tend to coincide with the release of the movie. Hopefully we won't have to wait that long!!!

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

http://serenitymovie.com was registered by Universal some time ago, and for a while it would only give you a "page not found" report, now it directs you to universalpictures.com, where it says "Official Website Coming Soon."

The question is, how soon? No way to know right now, but my guess is it will be sooner than a lot of films get their sites up and running, and mainly because Universal is aware of the expanding fanbase for the film. Also, Chris Buchanan, president of Mutant Enemy and one of the executive producers, has promised us a blog soon, and he ususally delivers on his promises.

Until then, we've got this site, the Official Board, serenitymovie.net, browncoats.com, and several others, and most movie-related news is cross-posted to all these sites within minutes of each other most of the time.

I had tried to start a thread on this a while back, asking just what sort of thing we browncoats would like to see on the Movies Official site.

Personally, I'd like an official cast blog section just to make sure i don't miss one glorious word from our beloved crew.

But that's just me.

I'd suggest everyone do what I did -- find the Universal feedback link and email them. Ask them when the website will be up. For that matter, ask when we can start getting official T-shirts. Ask about who will be on the soundtrack. Anything to keep the buzz going.
