I'm upset. The Emmys are broadcasting on a cable network a good portion of Australians including me can't afford to get.waaaa I heard somewhere that Nathan Fillion is one of the award presenters this year. What a great way to introduce himself to the hordes who've not yet had the pleasure, and who will hopefully thinks to themselves "that guy's funny what has he been in? etc etc

I'm going to watch to see if Christian Hendricks wins for best supporting actress for "Mad Men", if the Captian is a presenter then that'll be a treat. Other wise I could care less about this thing, "BONES" was as always SNUBED by those assholes.

Here's the list if you care;

Dude, I hope he wears a jacket of a brownish color. Most of the live audience probably won't get it though.

I just checked to see what's on tonight and it turns out FOX is showing Preseason Football tonight, my guess is they'll be reporting tomorow how low the ratings are for the "EMMYS". I hope Jimmy Fallon doesn't get all the blame, even tho I'd prefer NPH as host I think Fallon's a good pick.

Many folks from Oz, cut off from legal access to shows across the big water, can get it via Bittorrent. This site often has DVRed copies of awards shows (never DL'd any, but am told it looks fine, unless you miss the commercials.)

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Am I the only one who was disappointed that Jim Parson's first word on the podium was not "Bazinga" ?

Your knack for making predictions is as steady as it ever was - the ratings went UP.

You're not the only one, but it was good to see him win it anyway.

Also like Aaron Paul winning best supporting actor for "Breaking Bad". He's fantastic in his role, and is overlooked. I'd have like to see Martin Short win for his role in "Damages", though, just because it was such a stretch for him, and went completely against his usual roles, and he pulled it off magnificently.

Obama will win a 2nd term, the Dems will hold onto control of congress in November.

I'm just happy "30 Rock" didn't win, but I'm REALLY happy Bryon Cranston did! "Breaking Bad" is great, It should have won for best drama.

One of our free to air networks did end up showing it, but a shortened version.Some good wins, though I would have liked to see Christina Hendricks and Andre Braugher pick up awards. And Christina looked awesome! Curves and healthy bodies are back catty catwalk fashion commentators so there!...mega disappointed that Nathan Fillion was only on for a nano blip of time. You'd think theyd tap into his comedic talent. He'd have managed it better than Matthew Perry and Lauren Graham. And I thought it was really inappropriate the way the camera swung to NPH after they made the lame gay comment.
