The series that Gina Torres was in on ABC Family Called "Huge" was officially cancelled October 4th...Only got a season. Don't think this one will have a cult following ten years from now, though.
Can't say I didn't see this coming- overweight 'teen angst? Sounds greasy and uncomfortable...
I would have at least given it a chance, had I had cable.

Anyone watching "Parenthood" ? I love, love it. Lauren Graham is fab, and supposedly she is dating her co-star who, by the way, plays her brother... The mad parts would be easy, it's the inappropriate touching that would be hard to explain, heh. She said he invited her on a date years ago, but asked her to come to his house to play board games so she didn't think he was all that interested. Wonder what would have happened if they'd gone on that date????

Please feel free to tell me about any other newish shows you are in love with...

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Never watched Huge even though it featured Gina, just didn't think it would appeal to me, and apparently it didn't to too many others either.

I would love to love Parenthood. It has a spectacular cast, but the writing is weak and cliched. I watched all of the first season, but stopped after the first ep this year.

My two current favorites are very different types of shows. Chuck and Fringe. Runner up would be Modern Family.

Unfortunately, my life IS a cliche, so it's relevant...

I wanted to like Fringe, but they jumped the shark like 20 seconds in... I loved X files because it was reality, but slightly tweaked... I guess what I'm saying is I'm just not that tweaky... Fringe is a little too ...dark for me, too.
