Ok, the title pretty much says it all. I started watching online last night, from the 2-hr pilot, and I couldn't put it down. I watched all four episodes. so I'm caught up to Episode 5 scheduled to air tomorrow 10:00 p.m. on AMC.

The people at AMC should be commended for giving us great TV over the last few years. Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead and now this. I know, I sound like a commercial. But it's that good. Hurry if you wanna catch online though, it will be removed sometime next week.

Tomorrow I'll be taking my nieces to see Rio. I'll let you know if it's worth it in the Cinema section.

I agree about The Killing. Great show. I love Mireille Enos as Detective Sarah Linden. Her face and eyes are so expressive, she can dominate a scene even without any dialogue.

Don't forget about Rubicon. Another PHENOMENAL show that aired on AMC. Unfortunately it was canceled after the first season. But it was just as good if not better than Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, and The Killing.

Yeah, EC, you're right about Mireille Enos. There's so much in her expressions, you almost don't need dialogue. She gives me goosebumps, almost as much as Summer did back when Firefly first aired. She's that good. Finally, I found another fan of the show.

Loved every minute of this show. I kept telling my wife that it had a very "Scandinavian feel" to it; then I started noticing some of the names in the credits, and that made sense!

Like Rubicon and Mad Men, it doesn't throw a whole lot of stuff at you every episode. It asks you to pay attention, and lets you think. I loved it, and hope it comes back!

I was a little crushed that Rubicon wasn't renewed, because it was fantastic. It was everything that "24" wasn't.

Looking forward to the return of Breaking Bad in a few weeks. It's one hell of a show as well. The show's creator said in an interview on Fresh Air that his plan is that Walter White is going to grow into someone you wouldn't recognize from the first show to the last, and I can definitely see that happening season by season.

I watched it all, but I didn't love it. Granted it is different than most procedurals, more a character piece than a cop show. And granted the investigation has just been going on for thirteen days rather than the thirteen weeks it has taken to broadcast it. Still, with all the rain and the depressing people and the seemingly pointless side trips with false leads, it has felt more like thirteen months. I wasn't so much disappointed that the first season ended without a reveal of the killer, but having started to like Holder I'm now pissed off at him.

I was waiting for the season to wrap up before giving it a shot (I much prefer to power through seasons) but so many people Ive spoken to have said it had one of the worst season finale's they've seen, and have rescinded any recommendation they made to watch the show. So now I'm not sure.

A weak season finale?

More like a strong cliffhanger.

I think they are going for a novel approach, by which I mean that they want us to treat it like a novel (a book).

A book usually doesn't have a nice ending in the middle, so why would a TV series like this one?

I wouldn't characterize it as a weak finale, but it definitely wasn't a neat, clean wrap-up. I'd still strongly recommend it, and will very much look forward to its return.

There's some strong acting in it, some good characters, and lots of guessing and intrigue. Check it out.
