Yanno, that'd be a good TV show...People confronting the bullies of their past, maybe having fake paparazzi to make THEIR lives living hell for a while...

Who needs to be rich when you have a time machine, because you have a freakin' time machine!!!!!

I'd just keep riding that bitch forward, inch by inch and documenting everything I saw in the future.

Likely, I'd have to start wearing protective gear before "jumping" in case Earth was becoming uninhabitable, or even just in case the locals had developed immunities since birth that would only give them the common cold but somebody from 200 years prior would gasp and choke on themselves in an Ebola-like fashion.

Going into it, I'd expect nothing but the absolute worst, but I'd also be hoping for the best.

Easy question. Go back to gradeschool and tell myself to become friends with this chick that ends up going to the same college as me. Man did she grow up to be a hottie.

Also I'd give myself a bunch of winning lottery numbers.

About time machine movies - They did a fantastic job with the 2002 version uv the HG Wells story. Altho the old wun wuz good, the new wun haz the advantage uv modern speshl FX and they simply crammed way more story into it. Top notch actorz, exelent director, outstanding on every level.

Could this be a time machine that allows me to go back in time without impacting anything? Or at least a time machine that allows me to go back invisible so I could watch all my favorite historical figures doing historical things without messing everything up?

If the former I'd go back and make friends with people, though I'd also need a universal translator for some of them, if the latter I'll ... probably still need a universal translator. Going back in time to the recent past doesn't appeal to me really, though there are some great films about it. Going to the future doesn't particularly appeal to me either, I'm confused enough about modern technology, much less the whackadoodle stuff they'll have in 50 years. I guess going to the future to find new medicines and stuff would be cool, plus the almanac thing, Back to the Future II warnings or not I'd totally do that.

I assume you're my pal until you let me know otherwise.

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

Yeah, stopping Firefly from being cancelled would be awesome, but how exactly would one go about it? Perhaps go back far enough to become an executive of the network?

I think I'd have trouble naming all the things I would do with a time machine. I'd try to get a job at one of my old schools and look out for myself, and encourage myself to pursue science a lot sooner, maybe drop a lotto jackpot ticket on my family. Personal stuff. Then there's the wars I could prevent if I could figure out how. Global stuff. And I could confirm what sorts of things were really going on in pre-historic times; watch how life formed on Earth, check out some other semi-mysterious ancient events. Science stuff.

What reason had proved best ceased to look absurd to the eye, which shows how idle it is to think anything ridiculous except what is wrong.
