A "Terminator" reboot with the Mother of Dragons herself. And Arnold will be back.

The financing of Terminator has a lesson for financing Serenity 2 -- two too rich fans:

What Would Mal do ?

um..first impressions:

1)company just looking to make money on the franchise and leverage CGI to the hilt

2) Arnold (seriously?)- just a nodd to the fans..again , proof they are just trying to make money on the franchise name

3) Emilia? - she'll hold down the cute innocent waitress bit early on no doubt, but beyond that? i think the director is just hoping to get laid.

all in all..when I want to blow a couple hours on an old B-flick sci fi...then i don't mind revisiting the original T1/T2...don't know that I need a reboot

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

There had been a rumor that Tatiana Maslany was being considered, which I would have loved to see, so I'm a bit disappointed. I'm not interested in yet another reboot, but I might have given it a chance if they had chosen her. I'd actually rather see a continuation of The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

It's been 30 years since the first Terminator. Four movies and a tv series later it's pretty much played out. There's a whole new crop of youngsters out there, and that's what reboots are for. Emilia Clarke is a great choice because she's a terrific actress with an intense film presence in addition to her mesmorizing beauty. Game Of Thrones would be an unwatchable boring soap opera without her.

SCC had a good two year run, but there wasn't much left for them to do. It was time for them to move on. On the other hand, "V" was cancelled just as it was getting exciting and ready to expand into something outstanding. The entire first year was just a slow build up to the amazing last episode. The second year would have been only bigger and better. Oh well.

Did you see the finale to TSCC? There was lot's more to that story.

You may be right about "V," but I gave up on that show long before it improved (if that actually is the case). Sorry, Morena.

Terminator iz my fave franchize.

Hope the director knowz wut he'z doing. TSCC wuz good, but sum uv the action wuz krap and sum uv the riting also. I actually started rewatching it agen on blue ray on Saturday.

I get it, but I dont care much for the 'reboot' idea. The Spiderman reboot totally sukt AND it wuz way too soon!

'V' definitely earned a second season by virtue of the last few episodes. I guess they knew it was all over, and decided to go out with guns blazing. The show was doomed from the start because, like Firefly, it got pre-empted a lot, sometimes disappearing for three weeks.

Love the choice, but everything depends on the script.

Lena Heady was a fantastic choice, but the scripts fell short of her awesomeness, and they gave Summer very little to chew on. I got the impression that they didn't give it much thought, and that the franchise would draw a loyal following in huge numbers. It didn't.

I agree. I got the impression that the riterz dint like Lena and gave her sum seriously bad dialog. Her regular threts agenst Cameron and Derik are beyond vapid and the title sequence statement in seazon 1 containz 2 silly errorz.
