Does anyone know when that show is going to start in the USA.. or if it even is? I wanna see it so bad, and I just want to make sure I am not working or can get it recorded if I am.

The Doctor: Nice to meet you, Rose. Run for your life!

I don't know when it's going to be on over there, or even if it is, but if it is, it'll be on post watershed (if you have one) beacuse there are some fairly adult themes covered in it.

Oh yes. Very good, but also quite graphic. We're 3 episodes in, and so far we've had a nice praphic headshot (including some cool brain matter splatter), ramdon hot sex in a nightclub toilet, a rape/murder and a very bloody stabbing.

Like I said, fairly adult themes, which is why if it is going to be on, it'll be post watershed.

Alternately, wait till it's out on DVD over here and ask somebody to send you a copy (although you can probably download it from torrentspy on a week by week basis).

It's available all over Usenet, but please don't expect a show that's up to US TV production standards. It's still very much British TV. As to its adult characteristics - the show has the heavy-handed superficiality of RTD, but is not as grown up as Bob & Rose. If you've got The Wire, you don't need this show.

^ 'Fraid so, down in the corner - next stop France. Mark Lawson put The Wire in the Top Ten TV shows to be watched on DVD in the Grauniad this week; Dominic West and Idris Elba are Brits of course - Aidan Gillen is geographically close too, as well as being within a degree of RTD via Queer as Folk.
Ricky Gervais references The Wire as the sort of quality drama that couldn't be produced in the UK - but then, it's hardly US Networks either.
I believe The Wire got a brief airing in the UK on Channel 4, but didn't do the numbers.

Or that you learned it from the Brian Daly Han Solo novels (there was a droid called "Bollux").

"Bollocks" is the British term for "ass," and is often used to describe something wrong, confusing, or messed up, or as just a general mild curse.

Spike used it a few times.

Actually you can use either Bollocks, or bollox, which is a slang spelling. It's used in a similar way the french use Merde, or the americans use Crap.

My apologies if the apparent misapprehensions here are ironic, but here is a US reference:
http://www.webster.com/dictionary/bollocks

I enjoy the antipathy between bollocks and the dog's bollocks; IMHO, Torchwood is somewhere in-between - back on topic!
