Here's another one for everybody. I need to know if I've flipped, or there really is a flaw here.

In "The Message", Wash tells Mall that the Fed ship can't come into the canyons to get a visual on them because she isn't a small ship. Later, when they've given up and park Serenity topside, the Fed ship is parked in front of her, and Serenity is about 4 times her size. That's what I swear I saw. Have I lost my mind, or is that what's there?

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

Mal asks "What if they (the feds) try to get a visual?" and Wash says "Well, she's not a small ship." He is referring to Serenity and her not-smallness. As in "We would be hard to miss if they came down here."

Thats a good explanation PR. I was stomped for a moment. I guess I'll just have to go watch it again. Oh darn....

"Storms getting worse."
"We'll pass through it soon enough."

I thought that was a reference to the size of the Fed ship. Because if the Fed ship is small, it would make sense for them to just drop down for a visual rather than dropping bombs on them. Okay, I'm going to watch it again.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

PhoneixRose is correct. Wash meant that Serenity, not being small, would be very easy to spot if the Feds came in for a closer look.
