Hey if you want to make a banner really easily & make it look really nice then download this http://rapidshare.com/files/18372962/bmpro6.rar

I spent 10 minutes with this program & came up with this...

& you can do a lot more than that too,& you don't have to add layers upon layers to make one.

I get what your saying completely I myself prefer Photoshop too,anything you can imagine you can do in photoshop its just a lot of people don't have it or know how to use properly.

I used Gimp before I had Photoshop but this program is easy to use & can make really nice looking gif banners.
