Due to Matt Roush's opinion of the show being inspired by Joss, I decided to check it out last night, even though I was looking forward to no more CW after the cancellation of VERONICA MARS.

I'm desperate for anything Joss-like, so I threw out my firm stand on the network and decided to bite.

Turns out, I believe he's right.

Swap out Buffy being the chosen one, stick Xander (three of them?) in her place, toss in "Leland Palmer" as the "new" Quentin Travers/Giles, and of course Joss's trademark snarky, laugh out loud sense of humor and wit, and you've got REAPER!!!

In a nutshell, I LOVED IT!!!

My favorite new show, hands down.

Yes, exactly. The lead guy is Xander. And his best friend is Coop (from Megas XLR).

You missed last week's ep, where Sock was "testing" his telekinesis by randomly throwing heavy objects at his head.

"Aren't you supposed to be telekinetic?"

"OWWW!"
"Yeah, we're still working on that."
