In Australia, you can apply to have a ratings box put on your television, FREE of charge...so that you represent the ratings for a television show. I have one at home, infact, we actually get incentives for having it.

Is this the same in America??

IF SO...I propose EVERY browncoat applies for a Ratings box....(even if it is a small charge) and we organise major 'tune ins' to watch the show be it on the scifi channel or wherever it reers its head..

Ratings are an extremely flawed system...with one person representing thousands of viewers.. If we can use that system against them maybe we can make some waves again..

Lets become relevant again in the chase for more FF/serenity

Lets give these idiots something they cannot ignore...the supposed reason FF was cancelled in the first place.

Lets Give Them Ratings! lets give them ALL weve got!

Thoughts?? is this even possible in teh U.S??

How many people already have a ratings box?

Cheers

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

In the U.S. the Nielsen company selects the homes which will receive a box, and there are only a few thousand across the nation. I suppose they select them the same way a polling company selects people they interview to have a cross-section of the population. They also keep the identities of Nielsen homes a secret, so we don't know who to bribe to watch the shows we want to succeed.

what? what? what??? since when was this a choice thing?? are you sure?? cause if you are - tell me how!!??

I ALWAYS complain that ratings don't come close to reflecting my views - if I can change that, you BET I will!!
