I have hope. Both the popular and electoral kinds. But keep in mind that "Ghost Whisperer" is 'edgy' for CBS. It exists because the procedural gurus over there thought that senior citizens needed a genre substitute--like Metamucil.

Yes BUT! The Baby Boomers and Gen Xer's need entertainment on Friday night. FOX could own Friday night IF they do this rite. Friday night could become Sci-Fi night, not Death Night. I'm begging you, DO"NT GIVE UP! ..........please

Also remember Fox counts DVR numbers somehow! And there are also people who purchase shows for $1.99 numbers.

We hold.

They certainly will. And what's the historical outcome of that again?

Things are different now, T:TSCC & Dollhouse would be somthing new. They would give Friday night new blood. They would be the reason to watch TV on Friday night.

How is that different from every other new show that FOX has put in that slot, again?

T:TSCC & DRIVE did'nt have much luck on Monday, this could be known as FOX Sci-Fi Friday, like NBC's must see Thursday, only good.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I applaud your enthusiasm, whozit, but unless you are a Nielsen household your viewing habits don't mean squat. One of these days that antiquated system will be scrapped and something more reliable put in place. Its main intent is for advertisers to know how many eyeballs are available for their commercials, they don't really care about the quality of the programs they advertise on.

I'll be watching both shows of course, and also checking them out on the networks website since I am sure they do take those hits into consideration. Whatever other Browncoats do is up to them, but I implore all of you to NOT watch Dollhouse and TSCC through downloads from a P2P network. Legality aside, the network will not have access to that information and the few commercials you have to accept from their streaming video service is worth the effort.

Cherry picking data and wishful thinking don't change history, nor will it effect the future ratings.

Actually, it is arguable that they do have this information. As in, it is always wise to keep an eye on things that are (if only in perception) reducing your bottom line. It's the risk assessment to see if they'll do anything about it. Which the networks seem to have done little about. Perhaps they are smarter than there MPAA/RIAA cousins.

I'd also say that I (and many others I know) would never sit in front of the computer to watch a show. It's just too bloody uncomfortable. Not to mention the tragically inferior a/v quality.

Put all this together with the fact that many households have either an XBox and/or a PS3 to watch things on and guess what you get.
