If this doesn't show the respect this movie has among most fans of Sci-Fi, I don't know what does. Wasn't Mal in their top 50 most memorable movie characters list also?

Zoe: "Get it running again."
Mal: "Yeah"
Zoe: "So not running now"
Mal: "Not so much"

Cool, but I have the question the validity of a list that doesn't include the deaths of Darth Maul or Obi-Wan, or, for that matter, Hans Gruber. Classic cinematic moments.

I can only imagine Darth Mauls . . . um . . . undoing, was because the cutting someone in half thing had been done before (Blind Justice with Rutger Hauer) and Obi-Wan wasn't necessariy "finished" but he sacrificed himself.

I was wondering why they didn't pick Mal incapacitating the Operative at the end of Serenity as that is far more dramatic. Then it dawned on me that he really didn't FINISH the Operative, just immobilized him.

Cutting someone in half has been done many times before, but I don't know that it's been done cooler...

As for Kenobi... seriously, have you looked at the list? A lot of the "finishing moves" are pretty lame!

Honestly, when I saw Maul had been cut in half, I was like, "Meh. Cut in half." It suprised me much more in Blind Justice when the body didn't part in twain for several seconds. THAT was an "OH MY GOSH!!!" moment for me.

"Dude killed me with his sword. How weird is that?"

Zoe: "Get it running again."
Mal: "Yeah"
Zoe: "So not running now"
Mal: "Not so much"

Not only is Serenity in the list, but they also have another move labeled as "I can kill you with my brain". Hmmm, why does that sound familiar?

Important people don't do field work.

Why the nerve cluster strike and not Mal's "Rotator Cuff Tear Out"? Oh, yeah...he didn't kill him with it. I remember everyone in the theater all seven times I've been to see it groaning in sympathy at that move.

How the "Disappearing Pencil" magic trick wasn't first, I'll never figure out.

And "Shoot Em Up"? Really?

I think the cock shot in Robocop deserved to be higher too, but I think Clarence Boddicker's end with the data needle was pretty badass.

Heh..."Let off some steam, Bennett."

Kaylee: "What's so damn important about being proper? It don't mean nothing out here in the black."
Simon: "It means more out here. It's all I have..."
