In the serendipitous likelihood that anyone here has an AMV.org membership (if not, you have to either pay or wait a month after signing up), I just spotted this: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=36603 .

It's to footage from Saiyuki, which is one of those animé that even I haven't heard of, so I can't say how well it fits. Looks kinda Firefly-ish, from the imagery though. And it does have the "laconic slowness" that Joss talked about.

Either way, nice to see some reference.

I just checked it out. I've never heard of Saiyuki either, and from watchin it, you must need to have seen the anime to really understand the connection. Otherwise, if you just watch it, the clips dont seem to relate to the song at all.

It is nice to see how much Firefly has been spreading. Off and on I've checked AMV.org to see if there was anything but I didnt see anything untill you pointed it out. Nice find.
