Okay, I have been watching Firefly quite a lot lately so I decided to pop in Edward Scissorhands which is IMHO one of the greatest movies of all time...and it got me to thinking, I don't think I could handle a movie that was created together by Tim Burton and Joss Whedon, all the originality and brilliance crammed together on one screen....well i honestly think my head would explode.

MAL: This is my scrap of nowhere. You go on and find your own.
SAFFRON: You can't just leave me here, on this
lifeless piece of crap moon...
MAL: Sure I can.
SAFFRON: I'll die.
MAL: Well, as a courtesy, you might start
getting busy on that, cause all this chatter ain't doin' me any kindness.

My dream team (assembled using time travel, 'cause some of them are kinda dead):

Joss Whedon
Tim Burton
H.P. Lovecraft
Bram Stoker
Mary Shelley

Featuring Vincent Price in some form, even if only as a cameo.

Oh, my. Bram Stoker is on the list? Sorry, but IMNSHO he's one of the schlockier writers to pop up in the last two hundred years. Lovecraft and Shelley, no question. But consider someone else in the place of Bram!

GUNHAND

Hmmm allowing for dead guys I think that we should get Joss together with H.P. Lovecraft and Howard Carter.

Bet something very interesting would come out of that one. Pulpy, morbid and creepifying. Which makes it all better.

Hmmm, Joss directing a Solomon Kane series...I'd be all over that. Hell I think Nathan Fillion would make a perfect Solomon Kane even.

eerie-ass piece of work and get on with our
increasingly eerie-ass day, how's that?"
