Saw it at Wal-mart yesterday...almost picked it up. I havent seen the movie but I am a big fan of SMG. Anyone here seen it? Is it worth the coin to own?

I'm a big fan of both SMG and Jason Behr, but I was fairly disapointed in the movie. I don't think i'll buy it, but to-each-its-own you might like it. I suggest renting it first if you haven't seen it yet.

Keep shiny!

I would suggest getting the original japanese version rather than this re-done one.

People underate Japanese/Korean & Chinese Movies but they do have more than enough story, action & sfx to rival a lot of what `hollywood` produces today.

I rather enjoyed The Grudge. Thought SMG was good in it - very understated, and not very Buffy-like. There were some good creepy moments in it too. I liked it much better than The Ring, which I think is one of the most overrated horror movies of recent years.

Hmmm, I rented it night before last and scared myself silly. Of course I was all alone in my dark bedroom, middle of the night. The creep factor is high, the replay value not so much.

Have to watch all the extras first. And rewatch the movie for all the little bits. At noon. In my living room. With my cat. And my really big brother.

I don't want to spoil anything but the special effects were awesome I thought. There was just something really *wrong* with a lot of the things in the movie. It made me feel really on edge, nervous kinda. Very unnatural and disturbing. Loved it.

By the by, was anyone else weirded out watching Buffy and Ford go at it? Just me then? Okay.

My girlfriend and I went to the theatres to see it when it came out, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. I still creep her out with my noisy impression. Haha.

I have yet to see the original, though I am a fan of Japanese cinema, they seem to be ahead of us with cinema techniques and quality.

no,because for 7 seasons she played "buffy" and yet in that time she could never find the time to do commentary for atleast ONE episode, she even blames the producers, and yet she does commentary for this piece of feiyoo.i wish she and freddie continue to make crappy films(and dont respond with....."but the grudge made over 100 million"---it's still crap ,no matter what middle america says) sorry if i have made anyone upset,it just stings that the one show that made her famous she just doesnt seem to respect.
