Wow...what a difference a day can make! This morning is lovely, not as humid and the sky is that incredible blue that only happens in autumn! Hope it stays this way for months!

..So strangest dream of the week...I was living in a high rise apartment on some strange planet, and Jewel Stait was my upstairs neighbor. She called one day and asked for help removing a hummingbird that had gotten stuck in a feeder! I went upstairs and she was very gracious and nice and super nervous about the bird...which turned out to be a four-foot tall woodpecker, not a hummingbird.
Bizarre.

Hyperventilating over an armadillo that scurried around our house last night...I didn't know they were so close to TN!! Thankfully we have the backyard fenced for the dogs, but I wonder if those things can climb?
