More garden work today....things are looking FINE for my kitchen garden. Husband went and got me some cement blocks to raise my growing pots so I don't have to bend so much....AWESOME!!

How I know I am loved:
Husband is building me some raised garden beds on legs, so I don't have to bend my knees to plant or harvest...AND my little sister has found me an antique typewriter that she's sending along so I can play with it!!

It was COLD this morning...but the sun's out and the temperature's rising..so all is good.
I got to the pool this morning for an hour and a half aerobics class...so I'm feeling all proud of myself!

My wonderful husband has built me two more raised garden planters...so I'm never going to have to bend down and do weeding or harvesting again!! Today I'm off to the paint store to seal them up then the planting can begin!

Got lots of stuff planted!! Tomatoes, cucumbers, Anaheim peppers, parsley, rosemary and thyme...now I just have to wait for more potting soil to be delivered!! Looking good for this week!!

Nice rain yesterday..great sunshine today...overall a pretty good weekend...except for the ticks...what possible good do they do? Like mosquitoes...they just spread disease...I currently have TWO tick bites...one on my shoulder and one on my butt....not fun...

Good rain yesterday! The baby beans have sprouted, now for the dreaded task of 'thinning'...the tomato plants have grown a foot!! I had to stake one of them yesterday....things are looking good for a nice harvest!!
