We are officially in a drought here in TN...dusty and dry. Winds are kicking up lots of pollen today...and my head and sinuses are STUFFED....hope everyone is doing GREAT!!

Met some friend for breakfast today...we talked about Firefly and Harry Potter as they'd just returned from Orlando and a visit to the Wizarding World. Brought me a Ravenclaw hoodie for when the weather cools off, too!!

The squirrels are trying to kill us...this morning one killed itself inside our power transformer....in this heat, with no A/C we'd be dead in no time!!

I see pictures of the snow in Montana and I WANT. We've had no rain...unGAWDLY hot and humid temperatures and it's not 'supposed' to change until maybe this weekend. I think weather forecaster just tell us that so we don't all crawl outside and die.

Happy Sunday!! We're going to pick up a 'new' car today...a 1963 VW Bug!! All restored too. Had about four of them when I was growing up in WNY...apparently they last longer and better in the South, where they don't have to use so much salt on the roads!

Had a great time at 'Bark in the Park' in a town just north of us...met some friends, took some dogs - a good time had by all. Later went to a bonfire and cookout at some neighbors...despite the cold...had a very pleasant evening.
