Why, Thank you THG! So far we are..we live in a rural county and we have a wonderful friend who's been staying with us to help out. She's quite bossy and has ordered us to STAY HOME...she says she'll pick up whatever we need but so far we're doing okay. I hope you are staying safe and well too!

18 dozen...that's how many 'windflowers' my husband had delivered to me yesterday!! They're actually those silk spinners...and I'll plant them all around our house because they are so colorful and look lovely in a breeze!! Having a great time being a hermit!!

Feeling like I won the lottery!! Found tomato and pepper plants at the Farmers' Market yesterday...and a friend found me rosemary and parsley plants later!! Now all I need is a couple of nice days to get my garden going!!

YAY...it stopped raining and it's a good day to get my planting boxes sorted and ready to plant!! My good friend found me some Anaheim Pepper seedlings, too!! We love to grill them.

Wow...I am impressed with myself today!! I got ALL my seedlings planted yesterday...after prepping the pots and planter boxes with fresh soil, compost and fertilizer. Six tomato plants...nine pepper plants, Rosemary and parsley...still need to get boxes ready for green beans, but one of them was full of ANTS!! I'll have to put cinnamon out to chase them away. But I'm glad I got so much done!!

Oh, no worries, THG...I usually sprinkle a few drops of peppermint oil on the box frame...and yes, will add a screen on the top as well. I do no harm to animals!

Happy Sunday...had a good weekend; planted more beans after the chipmunks destroyed an entire planting box. This time there's a screen over the box and the wooden edges have been doused with peppermint oil. Hopefully they'll leave it alone!
