Got to new job at 5:30 a.m…..all computers down. Sat around until 8:30…
Not actually 'hired' yet…wanted to see what a deadline day would be like, instead it was just dead.
So we'll try again on Thursday…

If your Friday is over…be thankful. Tonight I have to report on a very cantankerous City Board…with one official calling for the Mayor's resignation..and the Mayor saying he's gotten calls to fire that official. Hope it keeps me away; that 4:30 a.m. wake up was rough.

Okay, I'm officially questioning my judgement about returning to work.
Yesterday : up at 4:30…at work by 5 a.m…..deadline…home at noon…slept until 4pm…left for night meeting at 6:30p.m…didn't get home until 8p.m….
today…work at 8 a.m….write stories from last night's meeting….home (?)…TWO meetings tonight….
I believe I may have made an error in judgement.
