I'm a fan of the show, and my blu-ray version is on its way to me now :)

i want to get the graphic novels that accompany the show to, but am unsure of what versions exactly i need as i read some were compiled into new versions :S

am i right in thinking that hardcover versions of better days and those left behind, the hardcover version is the definitive version? so i just need to look for hardcovers?

thanks for any help/info on the matter

also i'm uk based, so if anyone could recommend any uk sites or shops, even more awesome :D cheers for your time

I'm not sure there's any difference between the hardcover and the softback. The softbacks I have contain all three parts as well.

There's two considerations, really. There's cost, which doesn't seem to be an issue for you if you're going for the hardbacks. So barring that, the only thing really to moderate your choice should be which covers you like better. Otherwise, pretty much the same.

The hardcover does indeed contain some extra artwork.

The Hardcover of Those left behind does contain extra artwork not found in the paperback or three comic volumes.

The paperback version of Better Days doesn't appear to contain any extra artwork, but there is an introduction by the Hero of Canton himself, Adam Baldwin.

Unfortunatly there isn't a hardcover version of Better Days. I even emailed Dark Horse to ask if they were planning one and was told no :(

As for where to buy them in the UK, I got mine from Forbidden Planet, so if theres one close to you go in there and look before shopping online. Also, if they don't have them, they can usually order them in for you.

As for online, forbidden planet online has good prices, but they take an age to ship. Play.com usually has some of them, they may be just a little more expensive than FP, but shipping is free. Lastly, Amazon is always good!

Hope this helped

P.S Get Float out aswell, and look out for a Sheperds tale out soon!
