Alan Tudyk is Tucker. Finally he is the leading man! But his movie can not be found in theaters or stores in USA. That was too bad for Americans until yesterday, when it became available online:

Size: 1.46 GiB -
Tucker.and.Dale.vs.Evil.2010.Retail.DVDRip.XVID.AC3.HQ.Hive-CM8.avi
I am being circumspect. www.google.com is your friend.

Size: 350 MB version for handhelds -
Tucker.And.Dale.Vs.Evil.(2010).DVDrip.x264-BBnRG.mp4

www.tuckeranddale.com/
IMDB rating: 7.7/10 (Serenity got 7.9) www.imdb.com/title/tt1465522/
Critics' Tomatometer rating: 100% from the 5 critics that saw it at film festivals (Serenity only got 74%) www.rottentomatoes.com/m/tucker_and_dale_vs_evil/

Released in Russia as Slaughter Holidays
Released in Lithuania as Scary Movie Tucker and Dale (Pats baisiausias Deilo ir Takerio filmas)
The movie is in English, not Russian, not Lithuanian. Why could Russians see it in theaters and Americans could not? I blame Hollywood.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I've heard of it and had seen the trailer before. I've been waiting anxiously to see it, so now I will go do that.

Well, it was entertaining enough, but the trailer is as good as the rest of the movie. Alan and Tyler are great, but with the exception of Katrina Bowden (30 Rock), the rest of the cast are just typical B-movie fodder. Interesting to note that Brandon McLaren (AMC's The Killing) hasn't changed his hairstyle.

America beat Russia to the Moon, but Russia kicked American ass at the movies. Alan Tudyk is in Slaughter Holidays at Russian theaters.

Does Haken want you posting links to illegal downloads? Especially for a film that hasn't even been released yet?

Tucker and Dale has been released in Russia and Lithuania. And "illegal download" is a Hollywood colloquialism for "Get away from my BMW, you punk!"

The Lithuanians have a different marketing strategy for Alan Tudyk in Scary Movie Tucker and Dale (Pats baisiausias Deilo ir Takerio filmas).

The Lithuanian critic writes, "Jus žvengsit kaip tris dienas šieno neede arkliai!"
I translate it as "Your horse will stop eating hay for three days!" Could that be a good review? I'm not sure.

And? It has not been released in this country, and either way - it's still a pirated illegal copy.

A common defense of thieves and other assholes.

It's not even a Hollywood movie, you moron - it's an indie, which means that piracy very directly undercuts the filmmakers.

Do expect to be paid for the work you do? If so - you're a hypocritical POS.

That movie (which I hated the title for, and wanted to change) is dead now anyway, which I'm rather thankful for.

But yes, that's how it works, people get paid for the work they do. I note that you didn't volunteer to do your job for free.

And a thief calling ME rude. How quaint.

I am offended that you accuse me of petty theft; I am a criminal mastermind with delusions of grandeur, i.e. Badger. Let me explain my marvelous crime:

Alan Tudyk could retire from acting once he receives the royalties I stole from him that should be paid for downloaded copies of Tucker and Dale. Release groups CM8 and playXD are thieves working for me in ripping the DVD. Filesonic and Fileserve are distributing stolen property, per my orders. That would make irfree.com, directlinkspot.com, and sceper.eu contributors to my crime, which makes me the criminal mastermind behind an international conspiracy.

I got to go - Interpol is breaking into my secret compound outside Islamabad. I have to arm my claymore mines . . . .

Have you ever noticed how many people get into deep trouble on a weekend vacation? Of course, you have.
Simple solution: Go on vacation Tuesday thru Thursday.

I do so want to see Alan in something good besides 3:10 to Yuma & Death at a Funeral.

On IMDb, I often fall for the lists. Here's a short one, prone to horror:
Best Movie Characters Ever Created => http://www.imdb.com/list/27-K8kFe-q4/#1
There I liked Rambo, Robocop, Terminator, Leon: the Professional.

Hmmm. Who would be on my list?
Mr. Spock, Indiana Jones, Road Warrior, John McClane, Kidda, Jason Bourne, Gandalf ... for starters.
I won't say Batman since I only like the Christian Bale version of him.

I actually loved this movie for personal reasons. Alan Tudyk being in it was just a huge bonus! I live in Morgantown, WV which happens to be the home of WVU, the number one party school in the country. There are a lot of people who go here, work hard and earn a degree but there are also a lot of absolute losers who just want to drink and sex through their student loans.

So in short, we are a bunch of simple, down home folks that for most of the year are set upon by a bunch of annoying, college kids from places like New Jersey. All of whom think we are a bunch of hicks just waiting to make them, "Squeal like a pig." It was nice to see the hillbilly slasher film turned around a bit!

I saw it on Netflix. The movie suffered from taking the same joke and dragging it out way too long. I laughed for a bit, but ultimately I couldn't finish it.

I hate slasher movies and absolutely Howled at Tucker and Dale.
I can't imagine not watching all of it, in part to see the twist go a full 180 degrees.

I'll definitely purchase Tucker and Dale VS Evil for my Firefly alum video collection!
