I'm renting them on netflix and I'm wondering what to watch when: should I watch buffy then angel, or a certain number of seasons of buffy then alternate?

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Buffy seasons 1-3 should be watched first, then Buffy 4 in conjuction with Angel 1, either alternating episodes of each, or at the least watch disc one of Buffy then disc one of Angel.

There were several crossover episodes in the first two years of Angel, or at least some casual reference between episodes, which at that time were being broadcast consecutively on the same night on the WB. Not so much after Buffy moved to UPN though.

Thanks! I'm planning on getting these from netflix, too, and was wondering about episode order.
