Okay, I'm a little bored, but I want to know. Would work better as a poll but...

What's your favorite DVD Disc of our favorite little tv program?

I'm all over Disc 3.

I'd agree with that. I figure Disk 1 is good for basic introduction to an unsuspecting newbie (for obvious reasons), as well as trying to get those who dig action into the series. Disk 3 is good to show to the older folks who think teevee SF is all Star Trek-y nonsense, and Disk 2 seems to be a good one to show womenfolk who like a nice story with guys and gals interacting emotionally, as opposed to, say Disk 1, where they interact with firearms and fisticuffs....

Well I have to agree with you. Disc three is my favorite having my favorie ep and all. It also has my least favorite (its not that I don't like it,but there has to be one)but the good completely overcomes the less good...so disc three it is.

Number three is definitely my most watched one. I'm not a big fan of war stories - it's not a bad episode, but I skip past the torture scenes.

But the other three are all my favorites. Especially OoG.

Yeah, I liked War Stories, but the torture scenes, while well done, seemed to drag on a bit on the fifth and sixth viewings.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

This was brought us several months ago, and the person who created the thread said it was no fair choosing all four of them. But my opinion is still the same, there is no way I can choose just one of the discs over the other three.

Yes, "Out of Gas" is an excellent ep, and it seems to be the favorite of so many, but I think the best one is "Objects in Space." And while "Heart of Gold" does have a rather tame villian compared to the other eps, it is getting better with each viewing, and "The Message" is also strong.

I am not saying that Disc 4 is superior, but I think it has just as many strengths as #3. IMO, the same can be said for 1 & 2 as well. There just is not an inferior disc in this set.
