Thought 1: Isn't it likely that the look on Jayne's face when Simon described what the Blue Hands had done to River was (in addition to possibly feeling guilt) due to fear? He's finding out what kind of guys he's made a deal with and he's street smart enough to know it's not going to go well?

Thought 2: If you add the facts that River usually has a reason behind the things she says, and that she said that you can suck the blood out of someone in 8.x seconds with sufficient suction, and the Blue Hands ability to cause bleeding...I bet she's seen it happen.

Question: I've seen a hamster mentioned several times, but I can't remember where ther was a hamster in the shows. Can someone enlighten me?

My tag line is "hamster is nice",that's from Jaynestown where simon is talking to drunk kaylee about how one of his patients named a hamster after him, to which drunk kaylee says----"hamsters is nice" just found it very funny.is that the hamster ref you are referring to?if not i aplogize for the babble

I actually saw it referred to a few times in the "10 things I learned from Firefly" thread. But yes I'm sure that what they were referring to and I do recall the line now. You're right "Hamsters is nice" is funny!
