And apparently, so are snakes.

Zookeepers at Tokyo's Mutsugoro Okoku zoo presented the hamster - whose name means meal in Japanese - to Aochan as a tasty morsel in October, after the snake refused to eat frozen mice. But instead of indulging, Aochan decided to make friends with the furry rodent, according to keeper Kazuya Yamamoto. The pair have shared a cage since.

Ain't that cute?

America loves a winner!

Wow! I wonder how long this relationship will last! I saw Ripleys Believe it or Not where a cat nursed 2 small squirrels along w/ her own litter. The kittens and the squirrels all jumped on each other, rolled around and played with each other, and then settled down for a nice meal from the mamma cat. Too cute.

" They don't like it when you shoot at 'em. I worked that out myself. "

Cute? More like a head scratcher. I'm surprised the hapster didn't have a heart attack when the snake started playing with it.

No, I am not insane, I am crazy. Thank you for asking.

if its anything like my animals its not surprising. Cats can be very loving and understanding to rabbits when their not starving to death.

If you play Nationstates.net check out the region Firefly.

That's so cool - thanks for sharing!

The Firefly part of my brain is persistently muttering:
"hamsters' coats are... kinda a brownish color".
