Hey all you devoted Firefly watchers.... I'm just sitting here in between scenes and I thought, "Why don't I say hey and thanks to our biggest fans!". So, HEY and THANKS! You guys keep us on the air and we appreciate. So no pressure!
This new episode we're shooting is pretty wild, our friend Saffron returns and Inara gets some revenge! And finally a gun. I hope you guys are having as much fun watching as we are working on the show. To call this work, sometimes seems crazy- hey who wouldn't like to get all dolled up and hang on a spaceship?
So are there any questions out there for me? I sometimes read the discussions and thank you for all the compliments.

Question from DANGERMOTH: What's the hardest part of playing a Companion?

ANSWER: Aside from having to be naked occasionally, which the crew doesn't mind, especially Allen, who is standing over my shoulder; it's difficult to be so poised and not boring!

Question from GAELSONG: Hello! I don't know what to say... Welcome aboard! Something I've been wondering about is this: I'm sure Joss has told you some of the ideas he has for the show once it gets picked up... can you let us in on any secrets? I won't tell anyone, I swear.

ANSWER: wish i knew!

Question from Myra Jean: Who makes the necklaces you wear as Inara? I make jewelry and those necklaces are gorgeous.

ANSWER: Most of my necklaces are purchased, Shauna Trpcic is our costume designer and she finds amazing things...

Question from ALANNA WOLFF: …did you do a lot of research to get the right "feel" for Inara?

ANSWER: I've read a couple of books on lives of Geishas, but mostly it's about heart...

Question from NAUTICA7MK: "Heart of Gold" won't be airing on the 13th like it was originally planned. Is there a particular airdate that it will be showing, cuz I heard that there is major Mal/Inara UST in that episode and I'm totally shipping for these two?

ANSWER: it's a big mystery!

Question from GHSTWRITERX1: If you had to describe Inara as far as how she feels about her environment, people in her environment (particularly mal ehem!), what would you say are her thoughts on everything? Also... (This is open for Nathan, Adam and anyone else running around)...How would you describe your fellow cast members (like who jokes around, who's serious etc)?

ANSWER: everybody has a different dynamic with Inara, and it's interesting to see how that develops. Mal and I have what you call the "moonlighting" syndrome.... and evrybody is a joker on set! but as you can imagine nathan and alan keep us on our toes.
