OMG that looks unwatchable.

I'm all for doing a remake of Supergirl because, for once, it's a bad movie they're trying to remake. But at least from this trailer so much of this dialogue seems like it was ripped straight out of 2016. Yuck.


She's cute though... possibly even charismatic when she's not carrying around that nihilism boner that would make Brie Larson blush. (And I believe that unfortunate thumbnail does not do her justice).

Pretty hard to beat Helen Slater in the looks department, but I think from what little I've seen here that she's probably got a bit more acting chops than Billie Jean.

At least they didn't make her 250 lbs and/or androgynous.

Baby steps.

Well... to be fair. I didn't actually SEE it. Not even once.




Dude... you're like over 50 now. Are you going to dust off what's left of Captain Picard's 85 year old body and feed him his lines in between the scoops of baby food? The only person in this movie from the OG cast that is going to be remotely close to age-appropriate for their charcter now is Rogue, and that's because you all decided to go grossly underage with her casting in the original movies instead of getting somebody even hotter than Mystique to play her like you should have done. But even Anna Paquin is 43 freakin' years old now. And nobody wants to see 60 year old Storm either.

You all know the only one left of you that could still pull off the look is Hugh Jackman, so I hope you realize the rest of you are going to have as little screen time as humanly possible in whatever drek this flick turns out to be when Disney finally shits it out.


Did everyone forget that even before the Woke Plague hit the movie industry, you guys were churning out more and more terrible X-Men slop to the point nobody wanted to see X-Men anymore? People should remember stuff like this.

X-Men was destroyed before going woke made that an easy thing to do.


So if you guys are all sitting there thinking you're going to re-create the nostalgic magic of what SONY managed to pull off with Spider-Man: No Way Home, you've got another thing coming to you.

There is zero chance of that happening here.

What a load of horseshit when they show you "how many minutes viewed". When they're doing that, they already lost.

What they're not telling you is that they released all 8 episodes of the season at once. So that 618 Million minutes viewed includes anybody who binge watched the entire season too.

What a stupid metric to go by when you compare that to other shows that only put up a single episode and got that many minutes or even more during the same time period.

WM is going to be a major flop. They're just running cover for it now.

At least in 2026 we're not pretending like it's the best fucking show ever made because a black dude is in it.


I want everyone to re-review Black Panther in 2026. It's a laugh that they're saying that was the best Marvel movie ever made, according to the critics. If they want to preserve their integrity at all going forward, they all need to collectively come out and re-review that movie now that we're not in the middle of the George Floyd love fest from the insane, American-hating left anymore.

I never knew anything about Warhammer 40k when you'd bring it up either, except that it was a video game. I always thought from the name it was some sort of fantasy game like World of Warcraft or something.

But I saw a real interesting video last night about the movie Event Horizon where the guy was drawing parallels to Warhammer and the comment section exploded with agreement on that. All of the sudden, Warhammer got a lot more interesting in my mind after seeing that.

I was aware of the comicbook many, many years ago, didnt know much other than its a Japan comic that became a toon 'Pirate' and superish magic powers, very funny from what I knew of it and a bunch of stupidly enjoyable characters and highly entertaining

It's firstly a board game...over time it became something else
Three young guys from England started it in the 70s I think
toy soldiers, Think Chess, monopoly, Dungeons etc with Catan or little models Cowboys and Indians figures or Carcassonne or Civil War canons and little toy solider men, Clue or aka Cluedo or Lord of the Rings
The company was British and it became a multi Billion Dollar franchise, the game is Game Workshop eventually it game other games and other magazines went to 'Space'
That's where 40K came in
WARHAMMER 40,000 is not designed to be 'Won' you have little figures and rules and measuring tape and ways to roll dice and score 'hits' but the war is a stalemate and endless.
The game can be seen as a grind that just keeps going 'stalemate' trench warfare...but lately some New guys appeared the Tau....the old 'Race' the Humans, the Space Orcs or Orks, the Sadistic looking creatures that see like Elves, the Necrons these Space-Terminator looking things who were sleeping in Pyramids, metallic Necron Terminator looking 'people' that once killed 'space gods' all Races/Factions typically rush and use waves of charging people like meat grinders

Then a new fantasy scifi character bunch called the 'Tau' recently showed up with super laser guns and 'Space Drones' and they seem to care a lot about their people and win because their guns are better so everyone who was playing the game for a while hates the new guys 'The Tau'
I guess that's a bit like how Japan broke the rules and defeated Russians off the coast of Siberia, or how the USA changed the rules of 'Warfare' beating old powers, hitting stand-off weapons and winning against Empires and winning victories in WW1 and WW2, the Tau dont obey the old rules

Orks are supposed to be the most fun, you throw dice and 'random' stuff can happen

the Orks might have cartoon powers

People buy dolls and paint them.
Some people simply collect the Space Army Dolls or Giant figures or small soldiers like people would collect Army models

What colors to use for a Nasty Horror Looking Space Elf Assassin
How to Paint alien T'au Empire Combat Patrol model. People complain the Tau are cheating with neo-MECHA, the Tau cheat its like Having Satellites and Aircraft Carriers and Stealth against guys chucking spear and a few others with AK-47s

Some of the models are stupidly expensive, from what I see some of the official paints are very expensive

'Games Workshop' starts to make a ton of money

some people are happy to buy a small box of soliders or buy a very big spaceship Tau or T’Au
and it takes forever before they paint it

others dont care about how usually the paint job looks, they throw colors on it as quickly as possible and now use their 'Toy' to win the board game

Henry Cavil himself has an obsession with painting the dolls and ships

WH40K is a big storybook
It has story or 'Lore' or background or Universe building or Canon-ish stories, books and leaflets people handed around, they sold stories and rules to university and college kids and the punk rockers and mods the hipsters of their time

it has been around a long time as a story a small fanzine, would later help Wahammer take over so many of the old Magazines
many, many different planets and Space Empires at war

Warhammer 40K has 'gods' and magic-ish events like Star Wars or other franchsies

Its gods seem to be nasty, maybe want to see people live in misery like Roman or Arabia or Shinto or Pagan, the gods in Warhammer seem to be these nasty entities that influence the Galaxy for the worse
When Spaceships travel they use 'The Warp' which is kind of like a realm of magic or 'chaos' but its also a short cut to travel distances like a Wormhole or cutting through a Parallel Dimension
'The Warp' is bad, its where a lot of nasty, monster, demonic, space creature stuff comes out of, ''The Warp' is almost a plot device for bad things happen

People started to get entertained by the books, comics
This is where some of it got funny, although it is dark it can have light maybe funny moments, characters from books etc
but it is mostly 'Grim Dark'
space-cthulhu meets space mosters, meets event horizon meets starship troopers

one of the original races look like the Xenos from the H. R. Giger designed, Dan O'Bannon, Ronald Shusett, Ridley Scott, James Cameron 'Alien's movies but on steroids...some backstories or 'Lores' remain a mystery, sometimes 'canon' is deliberately loose and vague

WH40K has become very geeky the Tau for example have their own language or script like 'Klingon' or Game of Thrones language etc

the more Lore you read or watch the more you realize how huge and long lived the franchise is, how insane the story of WH Galaxy is
Everyone seem to behave like a Puritan Zealot, a Kamikaze, a Christian ready to burn a Witch, a Saudi radical, a Taliban, an Iranian extremist, a Jewish extremist ready to conquer and burn other Lands, its every aesthetic from old Empires Rome, the Germans, the Russians, Byzantine, the Spanish inquisition just became War Games are 'cool'
maybe just maybe there are no 'Good Guys' and even humanity is 'Bad' in 40K...stupid and totally over the top Conquest, Lore and Aesthetics

WH40K its now cartoons, video games etc
they want a movie or show like 'Fallout' but they also expect Directors/Writers to not 'get it' and destroy any movie/show
Warhammer it started small but over time Warhammer 40K grows. It becomes cartoons, video games, fan movies, the fans expect it to be a certain WH40K canon, they expect it to respect its fanbase and to be a certain way



its been trying to go mainstream for a while at least the 1990s and even had its own Fantasy settings and Sport Game settings

you will spend too much time looking up vids of it trying to figure it out and you will get baited into click more vids on it to try figure out what is going on with this franchise and wtf everyone is talking about
