Did anyone go to the premiere of Star Wars Ep 3? Or if you go see it opening weekend, could you tell me if we get introduced to Han Solo in this episode? I'm really curious to know which of the characters from Ep 4-6 are introduced in Ep 3. I know the twins are and some of the leaders of the rebel alliance are introduced. I also know that we meet Chewie.

I think we're unlikely to see anyone else from 4-6. I haven't seen it yet, I have plans for Sun. with some friends who want to see it. A section in my local paper states that in "Revenge of the Sith" Chewie is 180 years old, and in "Star Waars" (new hope) He's 200. Though Obi-Wan seems to age more than 20 years between the two. So Han 20 years younger than he was in New Hope, would be what? maybe 10-20? It's possible I guess, but I haven't heard anything about that yet. I would Love to see the Falcon.

just reading a bit about the movie-I heard there was supposed to be a scene with 10 year old Han but it did not make the final cut
IF it was ever shot maybe the DVD

well having read the making of book for ep III,
the afore mentioned scene with a 10 yr old Han was in one of the early drafts, but never made it to a shooting script.
it was set on kashyyyk, and involved young solo delivering a msg to yoda, then accompaning yoda off somewhere. ( i forget where).....

...May have been the losing side, Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

The age gap between Eps 3 & 4 does seem a little strange. Presumably Luke & Leia are supposed to, what, 20ish in Ep 4 so surely Anakin/Vader would only be in his mid 40s (at most). Hardly matches with Sebastian Shaw's portrayal in ROTJ. And the years weren't too kind to Obi Wan either.

There are a LOT of questions that need answering - I bought the "Art of" book back in April, forgetting it would have the script in (whether it's the final version or not). Have managed to keep from reading it, although some of the pictures in the book are an obvious give away.

Have also had to stop playing Star Wars Lego until I've seen the film for fear of learning too much about it!!
