Just had the misfortune of watching this monstrosity and wondered if there was anyone else out there who shared my pain?

Maybe we could set up a support group?

Anyone who saw the Star Wars Holiday special since it was first broadcast suffered a self-inflicted wound. We all knew how bad it was but sometimes you just have to witness things to appreciate how incredibly awful they can get.

This was our early warning for the horrors of the prequels to come.

I know we'd all HEARD how awful it was supposed to be but nothing prepared me for the true horror! And come on, the prequels are strokes of genius compared to that!

I suppose I thought it would be one of those "so bad it's good" kind of programmes. How could I be so wrong? That bit where Chewie's dad (who looks like the Alien Newborn!) watches that video - one of the most disturbing things I have EVER had the misfortune to see.

Still, suppose I'm glad to have seen it as it's part of Star Wars folklore. At least now I know the truth....

Weird, I just convinced a mate to download that last night! Well I don't think convinced is the right term, I warned him not to and he decided he had to see it.

Appauling, just appauling...

My brother was responsible - and I was so excited when he said he was bringing it over. He said "you won't thank me".

He was right....is it too late to warn your friend?!

Not only does it feature the worst acting/singing/sets/"plot" but also quite possibly the most awfully drawn cartoon you'll ever have the misfortune to see.

The only thing I liked was the cuddly Bantha - would have liked one of those!

God Help Us All!!!!!

I have seen - I have turned away in fear and shame - so much wrong - so much -

The version I downloaded didn't have the Boba Fett cartoon in it - it's supposed to be there right?

SpookyJesus - count yourself lucky if any bits of it were missing, especially that godawful cartoon. I'm starting to cry just thinking about it again...

I so wanted to find some tiny little element of it to enjoy - was that so wrong? The only vaguely exciting bit was when I thought the Stormtrooper was going to beat Chewie's kid over the head when he discovered the false transmission.

Harrison Ford didn't look TOO uncomfortable to be there.
Once was enough, back in 1978, thank you. I think I've forgotten about 20% of it, workin' on 100%.
Even my Manticore training doesn't help on this one.

EGADDS! Chrisisall
