I was on fark.com and they linked to this story:

I just hope that Lucas isn't involved in the writing or directing.

He may be involved as writer or director in small bits, but they have already started assembling a writing team. He'll probably have more of a show-runner role, having approval of each script, without actually writing them.

They say they're going to produce this series along the same lines as they did for Young Indy, which is to write an entire season or two, spend a year hopping around the globe, filming in various locations that will appear throughout the season, and then start airing them once they're all shot.

"I thoroughly disapprove of duels. If a man should challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him."

Yeah, that's pretty much what they've confirmed will happen. Rick McCallum has said that the show, set between Episodes III and IV, will be "What the fans wanted the prequels to be" and that it will be darker, grittier, and more character based than the films. He has said that Lucas wants to do hour-long episodes, and make 100 of them.
