When I 1st saw the mini-series, and there was a scene where a cylon raider fired a missile at Colonial One, and Apollo flew ahead of it and let the missile track him, and then he flipped around and fired at the missile, I knew right there that that was correct physics I was seeing. That was the 1st time I ever seen real physics happening in a sci-fi movie with space fighters. It makes sense and it changes the whole dynamics, the concept of dog fighting.

The fact that you can hear the noise of it hitting the viper must be because those cockpits might have oxygen in them, but then again that would defeat the idea that they have fully enclosed helmets, but the sound could be heard in the cockpit because of the air.
