STEAMER

I was just chatting with a friend who has been perusing Star Trek: Enterprise for the past little while, and she related a high-larious story about the episode "Shuttlepod One":

The story goes that two of the main characters are out on a mission in the aforementioned shuttlepod, and being misled to believe that the Enterprise has been wrecked in an asteroid field, they embark on a series of misadventures together. Now one of these main characters is named Malcolm - vital that we keep this in mind. In one of the fantasies he has during this episode, the hot Vulcan first officer, who's with him on this mission, gets a little cosy with him - and here's where it gets fun.

As they get friendly, Malcolm gets a little self-conscious about his name, only to be rebuffed by T'Pol:

"I think it is a lovely name. 'Malcolm' is the Vulcan word for 'serenity'."

*dies laughing all over again*

PIRATECAT

Yeh I got that episode too nice catch line. Vulcan women are always hot but them romulan chics are kinda skagish.

"Battle of Serenity, Mal. Besides Zoe here, how many-" "I'm talkin at you! How many men in your platoon came out of their alive".

DATALESS

The episode tittled "Shuttlepod One" of Stat Trek: Enterprise Aired 2/13/2002.
Firefly's Premiere episode "The Train Job" aired September 20, 2002, So it is either a very weird coincidence or Mr. Joss Whedon liked Enterprise and called both his ship and captain after it or the producers of Enterprise heard about Foxes new show.

TRAVELER

Sometimes you hear or read something and it gets glued to your mind.

Then you find you have used it without realizing it.

Traveller was Robert E. Lee's Horse.
As a history nut I probably read about that a zillion times.

Yet I never realized why I took it for my sig.
Of course, General Lee is one of my favorites.

I spell it with one "L" instead of two like Lee did.

Traveler
