My favorites are both from season 5

-I, Borg. Powerful. And it has Borg.

-The Inner Light. Doggone it, what a beautiful episode. The part at the end with Picard looking out in space with that flute. Always gets me misty.

The common theme I'm seeing in my favorites is either Borg-related episodes, comedic episodes, or heavily character-driven ones (as opposed to action/suspense). With the preference for playful/character-driven space shows, I can see how I was drawn to Firefly much later!

And of course I loved "Way of the Warrior," but that's DS9.

Yesterday's Enterprise, with Battleship Enterprise, and the only time we see Enterprise C, and I'm thinking Christopher McDonald was in it as well (his twofer in Star Treks).

I don't know the names of the episodes, but I think the one with the Enterprise C, the one where Picard gains an alien family and gets a flute at the end, and just about any other episode where Wesley Crusher isn’t the savior of the ship.
