I timer recorded the seven aired episodes of The Inside letting them all pile up for marathon viewing.

I just finished watching them all and have decided the show did indeed grow on me. The humor was dark, but certainly there. The stories, though very creepy, were interesting. It was becoming fun getting to know each of the main characters.

My favorite episode was the Jane Espenson penned 'Everything Nice' with 'Pre-Filer' and 'Thief of Hearts' coming in a close second and third.

However, I sensed a serious interruption in the arch-building between (aired) episodes six and seven leading me to believe Fox aired the eps of Inside out of order. Surprise, surprise.

The DVD set of this show should make a nice little edition to the collection of a Mutant Enemy, et al. fanatic.

PS: Rachel Nichols, The Inside's lead actor, is moving over to Alias this season. Rumor has it she is being groomed to replace Jennifer Garner who wants to leave the show and raise her baby. I have to admit I am intrigued by this rumor, though I have yet to see Rachel kick someone's ass. Alias is a great concept in need of fresh blood.

Important people don't do field work.

I will indeed miss this show. It did grow on me. I didn't like it right off the bat, but I was determined to see it through. I would have liked to have seen an Adam Baldwin or a Katie Finneran heavy episode, but, you know...CHOKE...Fox strikes again!

There were sertainly some funny things on the show, but, that show had some of the most gruesome things I've seen on network TV. It was GREAT!

Not that I'm into that kind of thing...

Kaylee: "What's so damn important about being proper? It don't mean nothing out here in the black."
Simon: "It means more out here. It's all I have..."
