America loves a winner!

I don't know whether or not this has been discused, but I'll post it here anyways. It use to be that sometimes if you caught the very start of a program, they'd do a short recap of what happened the previous week. So, recently I'm watching Wonderfalls on DVD, and the voice over states.. " Previously on Wonderfalls " ..and then goes on to show not just scenes from the previous week, but bits from 2,3 episodes back. I found that to be kinda cool. So, then I notice when I'm watchin Battlestar Galactica, they do an ever more indepth recap from prior shows.

I know I've not knocked anyone out of their seats w/ this observation, but where ever it started and which ever show had it first, I think it's a nice twist. It not only brings viewers up to speed as to what occurred in the last episode, but also kinda gives a thumbnail sketch of what's going on w/ the show as a whole.
