I was surprised by tonights revelations. Here we are still guessing about Firefly's Shepherd Book and so much of Dollhouse is given to us in a single episode. Now I know I am going to be having a difficult time focusing on anything else the rest of the week and I have a lot to get done.

I feel sorry for the people who are not keeping up with this series.

Well... I guess Joss learned the hard way not to count his chickens (read: seasons) before they're hatched. I'm just hoping that he's going to stay in the "plot revealing" mode for a while and actually have a tiny bit of time to in fact tell us about Book...! But yeah, the last couple episodes have been one huge reveal after another.

I also feel sorry for those not following along. I was reading reviews on IMDb and they all seemed to stop after episode one or two. I SO wish people had waited until "Man on the Street" at least to review an entire series. It's not exactly fair.

It was good to see Wash again.

And Faith.

Yes, Lt Ellis was hot.

Replys already.

And glad to know I was not the only youth that had the hots for Lt. Ellis.

Yes, I thought Alan was going to get a small part, but Joss fooled me again. I never learn. It is nice to see our Firefly crew are finding work. I was all set to watch several seasons of "Drive" before the door slamed on that series. I hope the door stays open for the Dollhouse.

I don't know, Faith and Wash making out wierded me out a little. I did notice though that Alan is no longer a "semi" muscular man. When did he get big guns like that?

As for the story, there were rumors that Alan was Alpha, but the apparent reason why he spared Echo caught me off guard. I sure hope Fox lets Joss continue to tell his story.

I think this interview, posted tonight on Whedonesque, helps explain that aspect of the role a bit: http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/05/dollhouse-exclu.html#more Sounds like he decided he had a lot to live up to. :) Good to hear it confirmed that our first shot of Alpha way back when was, in fact, a body double to throw us off the trail! :D

Joss fooled me too! I mean, with Alan having more than the bit part I anticipated. I'm not at all surprised that the series is awesome. I wasn't super impressed with the first episode, but it definitely had potential. I like that Joss didn't just lay everything out the pilot, but trickled out the details gradually. I think I was totally hooked by the second or third episode.

After tonight I could certainly stand to see more of Alan Tudyk in a tight t-shirt! Which way to the gun show?

Breathtaking... literally! I actually stopped breathing in the last five minutes of the episode!
