Can you still watch The Terminator? Or T2? Or (eek!) T3?

Highlander 2.
The single most dissapointing film I have ever seen.
Even worse than Matrix:Revulsions.

Afterwards, the new John does know, and must send Kyle back, or he will never be born...This does not mean that A John Connor will never be born. One has already been born independent of Kyle Reese already. Kyle also imparts key information about the war, and what role Sarah's son will play in it. As well as a bit of weapons training, and the forititude to carry on. Something normal 1984 Sarah may not have had the ability to do prior.

The key flaw though, is why would Sarah have gone into hiding? How would she have known to train herself and the original John in the timeline if Kyle hadn't come back?

I like happy as well as dark endings, as long as it's appropriate to the film, although I imagine that's pretty subjective.
My biggest objection is for the past decade or two there has been this need to inject humor, or coolness into what should be straight out horror, sci-fi or action films.
If you want a very bad film "Lobsterman from Mars", early/mid 80's .

In the original timeline where Kyle was not John's father, Sarah did not train him, how and why would she? John must be a born leader, or possibly went into the military.
In the timeline we see, she will train him (or get training for him), and how that change affects the future we do not see.
