Best "Connery Bond flick", best overall Bond flick is " On Her Majesteys Seceret Sevice".

They begin to suck after "Live and Let Die"

Dr. No had zero production value & a white guy in oriental make up.

From Russia With Love had Bond fighting a small, thin woman & having trouble as a finale.

Goldfinger gleefully killed the first two female characters & had the worst rear projection in the most unnecessary places.

You Only Live Twice was as comic book as any Connery film got, plus: another white guy in oriental make up.

Diamonds Are Forever was great, but not quite vintage Connery, and then there's that idiotic Batman trap in the pipeline thing.

Thunderball is nearly flawless IMO.

I think the Sheriff who chased Bond in "Live and Let Die" (Who's side is he on!) sould have been give his own movie franchise.

They gave him a good role in Superman II...

Possibly you're not remembering Blofeld with a Brooklyn accent.
